So, that's it from this exciting game as we saw another thriller in a T20 game. New Zealand wins this to keep the series alive. Do join us for more cricketing action happening across the globe in our network. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer/analyst Chandan Kumar Singh. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Tom Latham (New Zealand Captain and Player of the Match): "Nice to get on the board. A great game of cricket. The way we performed will give us a lot of confidence. It wasn't the easiest of the wickets. We bowled well in the powerplay getting 3 wickets. Iftikhar played a blinder and we held our nerves to win the game.

The bowling group was fantastic. The powerplay was great and the middle overs were good with Sodhi and Rachin. But I think the way Neesham did his job was amazing and kept his nerves.

Nice to contribute to the team and played according to the situation I felt. The fielding was great from us. We pride on our fielding a lot. We tried our best and happy to get the win. I am feeling elated about our team's performance. Thank you."
Babar Azam (Pakistan Captain): "We didn't utilize the first 6 overs in the batting. We kept the batting flexible, and Iftikhar played well, batting position doesn't matter as he can deliver at any position. We've bowled effectively in earlier games as well. Whether elders or children, everyone is successfully carrying out the strategy."
Time for the presentation ceremony.
1:18 AM IST: What a game we have had here in Lahore. The pendulum swung from one way to another and in the end, Jimmy Neesham held his nerve to give New Zealand a tense 4-run win to keep them alive in the series. The series is 2-1 in favour of Pakistan as Iftikhar nearly pulled it off for his side.

Chasing 164 to win the series, Pakistan got off to a bad start as they lost their openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan early. Fakhar Zaman struggled as well in his stay at the wicket. All the batters struggled and the game looked dead and buried. But Iftikhar Ahmed played an amazing innings as his breath-taking 60 off 24 balls nearly pulled it off for Pakistan. Faheem Ashraf played his part for his 27 off 14 balls and fell at the end with the visitors holding their nerves in the end.

A couple of wickets for Adam Milne and Rachin Ravindra. Jimmy Neesham held his nerve and ended with 3/38 in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Matt Henry and Ish Sodhi who kept the run rate under check as they gave nothing away. They were tested today and the Kiwis came out on top.

Earlier in the evening, the Kiwis won a good toss and decided to bat first on a used pitch. They lost Chad Bowes early for 7 while Will Young fell for 17. Skipper Tom Latham anchored the innings with his 64 off 49 balls. Daryl Mitchell chipped in with 33 off 26 balls. Mark Chapman scored 16 off 9 balls. Jimmy Neesham scored 10 off 6 balls while Ravindra was unbeaten on 8* off 6 balls as New Zealand ended with 163/5 in 20 overs.

A couple of wickets apiece for Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf who was impressive in the death overs, to say the least. The other wicket fell to Shadab Khan. The other bowlers came back with wicketless figures.

So, a win by 4 runs for New Zealand as they make it 2-1 in Pakistan's favour in the series score line. Stick around for the presentation ceremony starting soon.

W WICKET!! IN THE AIR AND TAKEN!! They did it, Jimmy Neesham did it!! Phew, what a game of cricket we just witnessed, and it's Neesham with nerves of steel who managed to save 5 runs from the last 3 balls after getting hit for 10 runs off the first 3 balls.

Length delivery on the stumps. Rauf swings across the line and goes for a big heave but didn't connect it well as the ball balloons up in the air and Bowes stationed at mid-wicket settles underneath the ball and takes it easily. New Zealand wins by 4 runs and they keep the series alive with this win.
It's now 5 needed off 1 ball. A boundary takes us to a super over. The game has had everything here.
19.5 J Neesham to H Rauf
0 Dot ball. Length delivery outside the off. Rauf hoicks across the line but gets beaten.

W WICKET!! WICKET! WICKET!! In the air and taken at long-on!! Dead silence in the stadium!! BlackCaps are back in the game!! Touch fuller and slower delivery on the middle and leg stump line. Iftikhar goes for a big heave again but is deceived by the pace of the ball and loses his one hand off the bat, and miscues it to long-on. Mitchell settles underneath the ball and takes it.
5 now needed off 3 balls. This is exceptional batting from Iftikhar.
19.3 J Neesham to I Ahmed
4 FOUR!! SHOT!! Low full toss delivery way outside the off. Iftikhar shuffles across to reach the pitch of the ball and thumps it along the ground through extra covers for a boundary.
19.2 J Neesham to I Ahmed
0 Dot ball. Length delivery outside the off.  Iftikhar shuffles a touch and swings across the line of the ball but fails to get anything on it.
Huge hit and this surely has sealed it here for Pakistan.
19.1 J Neesham to I Ahmed
6 SIX!! Iftikhar is unstoppable tonight!! Neesham from around the wicket errs in length and bowls a fuller delivery on the middle and leg stump. Iftikhar gets down on one knee and swats it across the line, the ball sails over the square leg for a biggie.
Right, Henry fights back to give away only 8 runs and pick up Faheem Ashraf. 15 are now needed off 6 balls with 2 wickets in hand. Ben Lister is off the field. Who will bowl the final over? It seems like it will be Jimmy Neesham with the final over in his hand.
