Thatโ€™s a wrap from our side as well. I hope you enjoyed our live coverage. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Amit Das and Scorer/Analyst Yogesh Kumar, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye. โœŒโœŒโœŒ
Deepak: Alright, the fixtures for the semifinals are sorted now, India Women will take on Australia Women in the first semifinal on 23rd February, while England Women will lock horns against the hosts South Africa Women on 24th February.
Sune Luus (South Africa Women Captain): "I believe it was a good thing that they succeeded. It was obviously a bad start. but delighted with the victory. The bowlers did a great job. 113 wasn't good enough for this wicket. Newlands ought to be crowded. a tremendous honor, to say the least. I watched what the team did today from a distance. This evening, Newlands has been fantastic."
Nigar Sultana (Bangladesh Women Captain): "In this kind of surface, 140 would have been challenging to pursue. There were no joint ventures. You must take a chance when defending a low total because otherwise, the bowlers will have a very difficult time. Shorna and Marufa were quite active. We lost three straight games because of the crowd, but they never stopped inspiring us."
Laura Wolvaardt (Player of the match): "Were under pressure halfway through.WE trusted that runs would come at end. We made it harder than it was. We struggled fro timing. Happy for the semis. Hopefully we will have a good game. Had a frustrating tournament so far, but this innings feels good."
1:24 AM IST | Deepak: The Proteas women made a strong statement by booking their spot in the semifinals with an impressive performance as they crushed Bangladesh Women by 10 wickets. Including the Men's team, this is the first time the South African side reached the semis in the World Cups at their home.๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

After opting to bat first, Bangladesh Women were restricted to a meager 113 runs in 20 overs. Nigar Sultana was the top scorer for Bangladesh Women as she amassed 30 runs but her inning was too slow as she took 34 balls to score these runs. It was a superb bowling display by the South African Women, with Marizanne Kapp and Ayabonga Khaka leading the charge with a couple of wickets each, putting the brakes on Bangladesh's scoring.

In pursuit of Bangladeshโ€™s paltry 113 runs, South Africa Women faced a daunting challenge from the Bangladesh bowlers as they were able to add only 9 runs in the first four overs of the innings. However, the Proteas openers managed to score 17 runs in the last 2 overs of the powerplay and helped their side post 26 runs in the powerplay, and the pair didn't look back from there and started rotating the strike sensibly and took the game far away from Bangladesh Women as both the openers, Laura Wolvaardt, and Tazmin Brits amassed half-century on the occasion and helped their side to chase down this total by 10 wickets with 13 balls to spare.

On the other side, Bangladesh Bowlers created a couple of opportunities but their fielders let them down as a result they failed to extract any wickets. This let South Africa Women off the hook, and Bangladesh's campaign ended on a rather disappointing note.

Stay tuned for the presentation...
Amit: Lot of talk was happening just before the tournament started over the selection issue. Here they're, right in the semifinals. They have thumped Bangladesh without losing a wicket.
