That’s a wrap from our side as well. Thank you for joining us from all around the globe. This is Prince Suman signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saipavan Janaki and Scorer / Analyst Yogesh Kumar. Do join us for the other fixtures across the globe. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.

Hayley Matthews ( West Indies Women Captain): "We had a tough couple of months but it is really good that we are able to bring the momentum in and played a hard game. We need a couple of results to go our way but all we could do today was come out and do well. A lot of young players coming in and it is going to be an exciting journey to see them"
Bismah Maroof( Pakistan Women Captain): "Of course, it is a hurtful and very close match. (Spinners) Yeah, they did well and good wicket this was. (Next match) Of course important match for us and we played good cricket and will continue."

Hayley Matthews(Player of the Match) :"Yeah, the game was a bit close but we are happy to win at the end.  Yes,  the great contribution from the batters and bowlers and the fielder also did well and I only dropped a catch actually, that was hit on my palm and fell. (Bowling) Just hitting stumps and little variations up and down. If you look last few games I only take the responsibility and made a good start in the powerplay."
9:43 PM IST | Prince: A good display of bowling by the West Indies women as they defend a small target of 117 runs.

In pursuit of a small total of 117, the Pakistan women started on the worst possible note as the key player Muneeba Ali departed on the 4th over of the innings. That was soon followed by Sidra Ameen 8(15), who was outplayed by Karishma Ramharack.

Nida Dar joined Bismah Maroof at the crease and both batters started rotating strikes and tried to build a partnership. However, Afy Fletcher broke the 44-run stand between the duo by dismissing Nida Dar for 27 (31).

Pakistan struggled at 59/3 in 13.1 overs when Aliya Riaz entered the fray. Aliya Riaz and Bismah Maroof tried to contribute some runs at a brisk pace but their efforts were cut short when Bismah Maroof departed for 26(33).

Following Maroof’s wicket, Pakistan required 28 from the last 15 balls and the target proved a little too much for Aliya Riaz to chase down alone. Nonetheless, Aliya Riaz chipped in with a quickfire 29 (23) but was unable to get her team over the line and West Indies won this match by 3 runs.

Aliya Riaz was the top run-scorer for Pakistan as she scored 29 runs off 23 balls, while Nida Dar scored 27 runs off 31 balls. On the flip side,  Hayley Matthews extracted a couple of wickets, while Shamilia Connell, Karishma Ramharack, and Afy Fletcher shared a solitary wicket each.

Earlier, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, the West Indies women posted 116 runs in 20 overs. They got off to a flying start as they scored 34 runs for the loss of 1 wicket but didn't able to convert it into a big score. Rashada Williams was the top run-scorer for West Indies as she scored 30(34), while Shemaine Campbelle scored 22(26).

From the Pakistan Women's bowling point of view, Nida Dar was the pick of the bowler, gave away 13 runs in his 4 overs, and pocketed 2 wickets. Sadia Iqbal also bowled well and picked up one wicket. Nashra Sandhu, Tuba Hassan, and Fatima Sana celebrated with a wicket each.
