We're done now on our end as well. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and Scorer/Analyst Yogesh Kumar, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.
Sabbineni Meghana (Player of the Match): "Yes, I am pretty happy if you score for the team and special to represent the country. I was not thinking about the surface. I think I stuck to my strengths and played well in the end. I love playing with Shafali Varma. There is a good understanding between us and we love playing with each other. Yes, I am happy to have done well for the team and contributed to the winning of the team."
Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain): We were rushing to complete the five overs because we anticipated rain. As a result, we began with two spinners. Richa was also extremely expressive towards the end, and I believe Meghana and Shafali batted pretty well. No matter how the wicket was playing, she scored runs for us. We wanted her (Shafali Verma) to stay at the wicket for a long time and regain her confidence while she was going through a hard spell. particularly before larger games."
Winifred Duraisingam (Malaysia Women Captain): "We needed to play, but the rain came out after 5 overs. The girls were excited and they showed energy on the field and hope they learn from this experience. Yes, she was great and showed talent in that over. We don't get an opportunity to play at this level and there was energy for us and hope to do well in the remaining games."
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.
4:04 PM IST | Deepak: India Women crushed Malaysia Women by 30 runs(D\L Method). India would consider themselves lucky as they were able to bowl 5 overs, which is the mandatory criteria to declare the winner according to the D\L method. It was a good opportunity for the Malaysian women to play against the Indian side, but unfortunately, the rain dashed their hopes.

Earlier, India made 181 runs at a cost of four wickets after being asked to bat first. In the end, Richa Ghosh's brief cameo of 33 runs off 19 balls helped India collect 181 runs. Sabbhineni Meghana was the highest scorer for India with 69 runs off 53 balls. On the other hand, Nur Dania Syuhada was the best bowler, taking two wickets in her very first over. For Malaysia, the team's captain, Winifred Duraisingam, also claimed a couple of wickets.

Malaysia's response to 181 runs didn't get off to the start they were hoping for since they lost a couple of wickets in the first four overs and managed to score just 16 runs in the 5.2 overs before play was suspended by rain. Deepti Sharma and Rajeshwari Gayakwad shared one wicket each for India on this occasion.

Stay tuned for presentations.

16:03 IST: Match has been called off due to rain. It means that India Women has run out winners by 30 runs under the DLS Method.
15:05 IST: The news from Sylhet is that the rain has gotten heavier and this will be a longer delay.
