That's it for now, the two sides will face off each other in the second ODI on Sunday at the same venue. For now, this is Ishan signing off with my co-commentators Ajay and Ovaise along with our scorer/analyst Dushyant. We will be back with all the updates, until next time, Good Bye, Take Care!!
Regis Chakabva | Captain Zimbabwe: "Obviously it was really good to get the first win like that .credit to Raza and Kaia, the way they batted. I thought we did well in the first  20 overs (in bowling), we haven't got a wicket but we were in the game and eventually, we stopped them on 20-30  runs short.  We were taking small targets in the chase, couldn't have done better."
Sikandar Raza (Player of the match): "Thanks, I thought Innocent was brilliant in the middle!! That partnership was crucial. Hats off to Innocent, he played a fabulous knock!! All the senior boys are doing well, I was trying to calm Kaia down in the middle and we knew if we take this deep we will have a great opportunity to win. We'll look to continue the momentum in the next game as well.. Really happy with how things turned out in this game!!"
Tamim Iqbal (Bangladesh Skipper): "Not really we were 20 runs short. This was expected we knew the first 10 overs you need to play like a test match and after the 10th over wicket got better to bat on. We are dropping the catches regularly and it cost us the match today. To be frank, Litton is out of the series."
20:55 IST: Zimbabwe have pulled off a miraculous chase at Harare Sports Club. They have won the contest by 5 wickets and went 1-0 up in the three-match series. Constant drop catches have perhaps cost Bangladesh a game.

Earlier, Zimbabwe had invited Bangladesh to bat first after winning the toss and in reply, the visitors posted a decent total of 303/2. It all started with a massive 119 opening stand between Tamim Iqbal (62) and Liton Das (retired hurt on 81). After that the middle order batters, Anamul Haq (73), Mushfiqur Rahim (52*) and Mahmudullah (20* off 12) exploited the blistering start they got and empowered their side over the 300 mark.
In reply to this mammoth total, the host lost their openers in no time (6/2 in 1.5 overs).

After that Innocent Kaia and Wesley Madhever started steading the storm. They negotiated the next few overs and it looked like their innings is coming on track but Madhevere then got run out courtesy of excellent fielding from Taijul Islam who came as a substitute. However, it was perhaps the last laugh for the visitors. After Madhevere's wicket, Sikandar Raza came to the crease and the pair of Raza and Kaia started hunting the bowlers. They smashed Bangladesh bowlers all over the park.

Both went on to complete their centuries and put the record Partnership of 192 runs for the fourth wicket. Just when they started smelling a victory, Kaia(110) played the tired short and threw his wicket. But Raza(135*) from the other end carried his innings through and pulled off the chase for Zimbabwe. For Bangladesh, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Mehidy Hasan and Mosaddek Hossain bagged a wicket each. But it wasn't good enough to prevent their loss. Hang on for the presentation folks.
Ajay: And Sikandar Raza finishes the things off in style...Just look at his celebration, a Huge roar from the right-hander. The crowd is dancing in joy here at Harare. What a chase this from men in red...
