That's a wrap of this wonderful entertaining tournament! CPL ends here for 2022! But, there are many other tournaments across the globe which we bring you live on our website and apps. Stay tuned!

For now, this is your guy, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Ayan Chatterjee, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Raju Khariya brought you all the live actions of this Jamaica Tallawahs-dominated finale! Until next time, it is cheers!
Rovman Powell receives the CPL Trophy! And the party begins as all the team members and support staff lift it by posing for the photographers! This will go on for weeks and months!
Rovman Powell (Jamaica Tallawahs Skipper): "I think adjectives are inadequate as to what I feel now. I am at a loss for words for this achievement. The back room staff play their part, and the 16 members in the squad played a leadership group.

King, Lewis, and others and the overseas players. Plus, they believed in my captaincy, and we got the job done in the end. I think we believed in ourselves. They had a great powerplay, and then we came back and kept believing in ourselves. I think the first 100 that Brandon scored in a losing cause gave us belief.

Then Brooks scoring a century under extreme pressure was something I will cherish. It's a step in the right direction. I captained earlier. I think I am in the right direction. My family has helped me a lot. Big thank you to them. Special thanks to the Guyana supporters.

They could have easily turned against us after we beat the Warriors. But you guys supported us and made us feel at home. To all the Jamaica supporters who have supported us through thick and thin. This one is for you. Thank You."
The winning team will now receive their winning medals.
Kyle Mayers (Barbados Royals Skipper): "Not really. As you say, it was a tough pill to swallow. Not really, we played well throughout the season, losing only three. But a bad night for us. Should have won. But, credits for them, they have played well.

Yeah, the conditions weren't favouring us. It was wet. Especially our best bowler, Mujeeb, struggled to grip them and went for a few. Credits to our batters, who played well. They were too good tonight. We haven't done well previously, but this year, we came to the finals. "
The runner-up team is getting their medals now.
The match officials are being presented with their mementos for the smooth conduct of this contest.
Brandon King: "Definitely, I set goals for the tournament. The main aim is to win, and then to do that and perform has been amazing. The message was simple. The guys trust each other, and then Brooks took the pressure off me early on.

I am happy with both. This one more as we won the title in the end. My advice is simple. Work hard, work on your ability, and you will get success if you persevere. The team is amazing as we trust in each other, and we got the job done."
Hero of the Tournament goes to Brandon King for his 423 runs which included a majestic ton.
Hero Maximum award goes to Faf du Plessis.
The Classic Catch of the Season award goes to Mark Deyal.
Junior Sinclair gets the Celebration Award for his back flip and the gymnastic routine.
Emerging Player of the Tournament goes to Ramon Simmonds.
Hit of the Match for the monstrous six (105m): Rahkeem Cornwall
Fabian Allen: "Well, firstly, I dedicate this win to my father, who passed away recently. That's it (gets emotional). The skipper said about the plan, and I needed to execute that. We needed to start well with the bat, and it had happened for us. This was much needed one for the fans and people back at home. Thank you."
Hero of the Match: Fabian Allen
Here we come with the presentations!
Mohammad Amir: "Yes, disappointed to miss out. The result, in the end, was good, and am happy to win the title. The crowds are happy and we are happy to win it for them. The first six over when they were 60+, I was upset. But the boys played well and Fabian, and Imad came back well. I am so happy to see our side winning and this is something that I will cherish a lot."
Brandon King: "I know somebody will play well. Tonight it was my turn. I am happy with the way I played. I am happy to contribute to the team. This makes us special."
Chris Green: "Amazing feeling and a great way to win the tournament. 3rd time lucky for me. Brooks played an amazing innings to win us the game."
