This is it from the live coverage of this game with New Zealand winning it by 50 runs. Thatโ€™s it for today from myself Nikhil Kalla alongside my co-commentators AkshayaKrishna Polya and Arijit Kundu with our scorer/analyst Chandan Kr Singh. See you soon again with more games to follow till then stay safe.

Tom Latham, New Zealand Skipper: "Fantastic performance from us. Finn was great and we lost our way in the middle. The way those two bowlers bowled was amazing to get them 6 down sealed it almost. We got a scare at the back-end. Full credit to the Windies for the fight, we knew they would hit back, but we managed to hold our nerves. Finn Allen showed great maturity out there and the way he played was pleasing to me. We lost our way towards the end and didn't bat out 50 overs which is disappointing. Hope, that we can improve on that and make sure it doesn't happen in the decider. We will have a chat and come back strongly with a better batting performance."
Nicholas Pooran, West Indies Skipper: "Very pleasing with the bowling effort to restrict them to 212 that we did.  It was really nice to have that variety. Cariah bowled well and so did the others. Batting let us down from 27-6, very difficult to come back. Alzarri and Carriah did well to bring us back. It is one of those things and we were short with the bat. He was good with the bat and the field and he is grabbing his opportunities with both hands. He looks mature and I am happy with where he is at. Yes, looking forward to Sunday."
Finn Allen, Player of the Match: "Yes, it was nice to get the team to get off to a good start and a competitive total. We were 10 short, but a good total. I and Daryl had to get through a tough period and he was a calming influence on me. I guess, I have that ability on me to graft and have confidence in myself going forward. It was tough, they bowled well and the wickets here are bowler friendly. Love the challenges."
Time for the post-match presentation.

NIKHIL: So, we are done here with New Zealand winning the game as they defeat West Indies by 50 runs, as they fail to chase down the target of 212 runs in a rain curtailed game.

New Zealand started sluggishly scoring 32 in the first 10 overs their top order as they lost 3 wickets. Caribbean Pacers were outstanding as the Kiwiโ€™s lost their top order cheaply to them. The 4th wicket partnership of 84 runs between Mitchell and Allen stabled the ship for the visitors. Finn Allen was the top scorer for the Kiwi side as he scored 96 runs falling just 4 short of his century.

For West Indies, Sinclair who is playing just the 2nd ODI scalped 4 wickets, Holder took 3 today, Akeal Hosein grabbed a couple and Alzzari Joseph took a wicket too.

In reply to the target set by the Visitors, Indies started in the worst possible manner losing 6 wickets in the powerplay as they managed to bag 27 runs in it.

The top order along with the middle order got bundled out in the powerplay itself as they got stunned by the pace battery of the Kiwis. Nobody managed to put up a fighting batting display as they all just came and went like nutshells on a sea shore. It was for the 9th wicket partnership between Cariah and Joseph of 85 runs to show the top order how they should have played to attain a positive result. The newbie on the international circuit Cariah along with Alzzari Joseph were the only ones who showed some resistance as they scored 52 runs and 49 runs respectively.

For New Zealand, Boult and Southee started brilliantly and picked up more than half of the Indies squad in the powerplay itself. Southee picked up 4 wickets, whereas, Boult managed to take 3 wickets. Glenn Phillips came as a surprise element in balling and he took the wicket of Akeal Hosein. Santner then chipped in with the wicket of Cariah to wrap the innings.

New Zealand win the game with relative ease at the end, the innings from Finn Allen of 96 proved vital in deciding the course of this game. As a result, New Zealand win this as they level the series at 1-1 in this 3-game series. We are all set for the Silverware decider on Sunday.

Arijit: Amazing effort from Finn Allen in the deep
This is a brilliant effort from Finn Allen may have just finished it. The umpires have sent it upstairs with the soft signal being OUT. Fair delivery.  Replays are in: It shows that Allen has done well and taken it cleanly. Yes, the TV umpire is happy. OUT is the verdict.
35.3 M Santner to Y Cariah
W OUT!!! A classic example of modern-day catching here as Cariah has been taken into the deep on the fence by Allen. The umpires go upstairs but the soft signal is out. Cariah look to loft this over the fence for a maximum towards sweeper, Allen had some other idea as he takes a brilliant catch running towards the fence then throwing it as he passes the fence and collecting it again after being back in the playing area.
35.2 M Santner to K Sinclair
1 Fuller delivery towards the off-stump, Sinclair has driven this towards long-off for a single.
35.1 M Santner to K Sinclair
0 Fuller delivery in the middle, Sinclair has pushed this on the on-side for no run.
