Post-Match Summary: This match is not anything less than a cliffhanger. I think everyone who have witnessed this run chase in particular, will definitely agree to this point. Thanks to the rain gods for showing some mercy, so that we are able to witnessed such an encounter. Madurai Panthers invited their rivals team to bat first on this surface. In the reply, team LKK end up at scoring a decent and fighting score of 151 runs by the end of their 20 overs. Suresh Kumar played an outstanding knock of 46 runs along with their middle order batsmen Mukilesh, who also scored a brilliant half century off just 38 balls. Their skipper Shahrukh Khan outplayed everyone with his bowling tactics tonight. He took 4 big wickets from just 12 deliveries he has bowled, and by just conceding 14 runs.
On the other hand, team Madurai started their chase by losing their 2 big wickets in the first over itself. But even after getting to a low start, they scored the runs at a very high scoring rate. They reached upto almost to a 100 runs in the first 109 overs itself. But after that the real drama begins when LKK skipper Shahrukh Khan comes into the attack with the bowl in his hand. He took 4 wickets and has almost snatched the match into his team favor. But at end, J Kousik took his team to the winning runs. NS Chaturved also played a massive knock of 75 runs.

Shahrukh Khan, Lyca Kovai Kings Losing Captain: "I thought the wicket got slower and sticky due to rain. We should have bowled well in the powerplay. This game we brought it closer was phenomenal. It was quite tough to grip the ball. It was drizzling all the time and the spinners were finding it tough. It was a 170-180 wicket. Muki played well and was so positive for us. He started well and bowled well. One bowler cannot do everything. Others need to support him. We need to plug in the holes and come back stronger for the next game."
