That's it from this game and the series. India wins the series 3-0 after England won the T20I series 2-1. We hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to you. Till next time, it's time to say good night from me Ayan Chatterjee on behalf of my esteemed co-commentators Akshaya Krishna Polya and Deepak Prakash alongside scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. Stay tuned for all other cricketing action across the globe. Stay safe, happy, and cool. CHEERS!
Jhulan Goswami lifts the trophy and the celebrations begin in the Indian camp as they richly deserve the series win. The champagne goes off and they can celebrate long into the night despite what happened right at the end. It's the end of an era as Jhulan Goswami brings curtains down on her illustrious career.
Harmanpreet Kaur(Player of the Series and India Women Captain): "I think this wicket was not easy to bat on. But Deepti and Smriti played really well today, and we bowled really well and were able to win the game. It was a collective team effort.

Well, to be honest, I thought you will ask about the first 9 wickets as they were also not easy to take, yes but it's part of the game, and we didn't have done something new, it's part of the game, and it's ICC's rule. I will back my player. In the end, we needed to win.

I am just enjoying my time, today was unfortunate, but I think otherwise I was just watching the ball and getting accordingly. When I debut in India, she was the leader(Jhulan Goswami), whenever I was going through the best time, many people supported me, but during my rough time, she was the one who supported me. We will always remember her. She is always with us, and she is just a call away whenever we need she is really available. She is my go-to person, and will really miss her."
Player of the Series: Harmanpreet Kaur
Amy Jones (England Women Captain): "Yeah, obviously, I am not happy with the result. We bowled well. We just needed good partnerships in the middle.

The end would have different opinions around. India would have a good opinion with that, and England won't have the same. But, it is in the laws, and you have to take that.

Good opportunity with the captaincy role, and I am really happy to have been given the chance to lead the team. It was a tough job, but yeah, I have learnt certain things.

Kempy (Freya Kemp), Capsey (Alice Capsey), and Deano (Charlie Dean) were all brilliant in the series. Dean had a great series with bat and ball. Happy for the youngsters to be performing well.

Yeah, our coach had a great term with us. She has been amazing throughout her term. We were happy to be with her. But, one day, you have to depart. The day has come. We are sad, but this is how the game and life goes."
Renuka Singh Thakur (Player of the Match): "Whenever I go back and talk to the coaches as to how to go about it and then go about my job.

When I was three years old, she made her debut. I watched her closely and emulated her. All of us look up to her, and we are lucky to have her motivating us. She is a legend of the game.

I was excited about playing at Lord's and always dreamt of playing here. I was glad to not only play here but contribute to the team's win. I hope to come back at Lord's next time and play well here as well."
Player of the Match: Renuka Singh Thakur
We are here with the presentations!
Some boos and some appreciation for India Women! Jhulan Goswami walks around the ground, alongside the team with a tri-colour in hand as she thanks all the fans!
A dramatic way to end the contest as Deepti Sharma runs Charlie Dean out before delivering the ball as she was well within her rights to do it and she did it. England were eventually bowled out for 153 in 43.4 overs to go down by 16 runs as India whitewash England in England.

Chasing a gettable 170 for the win, England got off to a steady start as the openers put up 27 for the first wicket inside the powerplay. But once the wickets started falling, they fell like a heap. England went from 27-1 to 65-7 in no time and that's where they lost the plot in getting this win. Emma Lamb got 21 at the top of the order. The skipper Amy Jones played well for her 28. But it was Charlie Dean's 47 off 80 balls that was holding the innings together. She was single-handedly winning it for England. Kate Cross (10), and Freya Davies (10*) gave her support, but in the end, Deepti Sharma ran Dean out as she was backing up with England going down fighting.

Renuka Singh Thakur was the pick of the bowlers with 4-29 in 10 overs. A couple of wickets for Jhulan Goswami in her farewell match as she finished with figures of 2-30 in 10 overs. Rajeshwari Gayakwad bowled 10 overs and picked up 2 wickets for 38 runs. A wicket for Deepti Sharma apart from the incident right at the end. India were disciplined with the ball as they gave away only 4 extras compared to the 20 given by the hosts earlier in the day.

Put into bat first earlier today by Amy Jones, India lost their way as they lost their first four wickets for 29 runs inside the first 9 overs. Shafali Verma, Yastika Bhatia, and Harmanpreet Kaur went for single-digit scores. Smriti Mandhana held the innings together as she got to her 25th ODI fifty and 7th in 2022. After her departure, it was Deepti Sharma who held the innings together for her unbeaten 68 off 106 balls. Pooja Vastrakar scored a useful 22 off 38 balls as India crawled their way to 169 in 45.4 overs which was a below-par score, but at least something to bowl for their bowlers. 20 precious runs came via extras.

Kate Cross was the pick of the bowlers as she ended up with figures of 4-26 in 10 overs as she destroyed the top order of India. She narrowly missed out on fifer and a chance to get to the honors board. A couple of wickets for Sophie Ecclestone and Freya Kemp as they were hard to get away. Charlie Dean had a wicket to her name and so did Freya Davies.

So, amidst all the drama it is India wins by 16 runs and wins the series 3-0. An unfortunate way to end the series on that note as Dean is in tears out there. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation ceremony that comes your way soon.

Jhulan Goswami has been lifted on the shoulders as they walk back to the pavilion! What a game of cricket and it was some controversial end. It was some game here at Lord's.
Akshaya: OH DEAR! Deepti Sharma has mankaded (run outs while backing up at the non-striker's end) here! The third umpire checks, and the non-striker is out of her crease. The laws of the game have changed! OUT! Charlie Dean is crying. All the hard work and all the cracking game of cricket played here in the Home of the Cricket has been done and dusted here with the cleverness of Deepti Sharma! India have won! England are in disbelief! But, India have whitewashed England in the Lord's!
43.4 D Sharma to F Davies
W Would you believe it? It is in the laws of the game and Charlie Dean is heartbroken, she was out of her crease and Deepti has done it. It's not the ideal way, but India will win this amidst drama here. Charlie Dean slowly started walking towards the striker's end when Deepti was on her bowling stride and Deepti has mankaded her. The laws of the game have changed, and Charlie Dean started crying here. India have whitewashed England at the Home of Cricket(Lord's).
Good captaincy by Harmanpreet! Fielders are well inside the circle.
43.3 D Sharma to F Davies
0 Fuller on the stumps, Davies defends it to short square leg.
43.2 D Sharma to F Davies
0 A quicker ball, Davies goes back and defends it forward.
43.1 D Sharma to C Dean
1 Deepti is into her 8th over. Fuller length on the stumps, Dean goes back and clips it towards midwicket for a single.
The umpires are checking the overs left by each Indian bowler! They are good to go. Deepti is here!
