That's all for Today, with this win, Oval Invincibles becomes number two in the point table with two points in their account while Welsh Fire remain at the bottom with two losses in a row. This is Ishan signing off with my co-commentator Hitesh along with our scorer/analyst Paras. Until next time, Good Bye from our side, cheers!!
Sam Billings | Captain Oval Invincibles: " Sunil Narine bowled brilliantly here, I remember nobody was able to hit him while we were having nets. In middle overs, I was planning to use him while the likes of David Miller were batting. We found this tough as a batting unit, Tom Curran and other bowlers utilised slower balls to perfection. Jason Roy is a class player, he would be disappointed to get out like this. Excited to see the Women's competition of The Hundred where the world-class players like Marizanne Kapp will be back, looking forward to the next game".
Will Jacks(Hero of the match): "Great crowd we enjoyed a lot today, Good to bounce back, We realized very early that the pitch was slow and we thought of taking singles at the start and taking it as deep as possible, We were 4 down when Sam came in after the timeout we thought it's time to shift the gears now. If you have wickets in the hand then the fielding side is under the pressure for sure and we did well to put the fielding side under the pressure".
21.18 IST: That's it, Oval Invincibles have won the contest by 39 runs and with this win, Invincibles have opened their win account this season while Welsh Fire faced the second consecutive loss of the season.
Earlier, Welsh had opted to bowl first after winning the toss here at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. In response, Oval lost their opener, Roy, very early. While Will Jacks was playing his part at one end, wickets were keep on falling at the other. Though it didn't stop Jack and he went on to score 81 (off 45 balls. He along with Sam Curran empowered their side to a great total of 158/5 after the shaky start.
Welsh were on the back foot after the first innings, chasing 159 their openers got a watchful start and put up 46 on the board before Tom Banton was done by straighter delivery from Sunil Narine. Joe Clarke (37 off 29 balls) and Ben Duckett (25 off 16 balls) played handy knocks in the middle but constant wickets in the middle order and lower order cost them a game. It never felt like they were in the chase and eventually lost the contest by a big margin of 39 runs.

Sunil Narine was the pick of the bowler for Oval who scalped three wickets and who was well complemented well by Curran brothers (Tom bagged a couple and Sam bagged one). Hang on for the presentation.

Ishan: It would have been a stunner from Roy, he ran hard outside the thirty-yard circle and almost took the one-handed blinder.
