Milestone
KIRANA:  Sussex's first win against Gloucestershire since 2007, and they will enjoy the evening with this win, A great game of cricket, Both teams played hard and both the teams were looking for a win. Sussex won this one. With that being said my co-commentators Ayan Chatterjee, Deepak Prakash, and our score/analyst Bishal Mandal are signing off, Till the next game goodbye.

After winning the toss, Gloucestershire asked Sussex to bat first and they added 334 from their respective 50 overs, Chasing the total Foxes lost 3 wickets for just 37 later on James Bracey 87(86) and Oliver Price 43(39) added 67 for the 4th wicket later Bracey was well supported by Zafar Gohar 53(41)added 89 runs for the 6th wicket. they both anchored the innings; these two fired a hope for Foxes. But as Bracey’s wicket fell everything fell apart and they fumbled at 283.

For Sussex, Delray Rawlins and Aristides Karvelas took 3 wickets, Oliver Robinson and Archie Lenham took 2 wickets each.

Earlier Gloucestershire won the toss and invited Sussex to bat first. Sussex managed to score 334 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in their respective 50 overs. 

Harrison Ward 37(31) and Ali Orr 35(41) came out to open the inning for Sussex and started their inning on a good note. Both the duo started playing good shots and built a partnership of 58 runs for the first wicket. Later Tom Alsop 35(35) and Cheteshwar Pujara 63(71) added 70 runs for the 4th wicket.

Danial Ibrahim scored a quick half-century off just 33 balls and built a partnership of 104 runs for the 6th wicket alongside Delray Rawlins. Rawlins made the highest score for Sharks, as he made 91off just 61 deliveries and powered the team to reach the 330 mark.

On the other hand, Paul Van Meekeren picked up 5 wickets giving away 48 runs in his 10 overs quota. Smith and Taylor shared 2 wickets each.

Fuller length angling in, Price flashes and gets an outside edge that carries through to the keeper who makes no mistake. Price is the last man to go as Gloucestershire have been bowled out for 283. A win for Sussex by 51 runs and it's their first win against Gloucestershire since 2007.
