5:25 PM IST | So, one of the two seats have been reserved by Pakistan and we shall get to know who their opposition is in some hours. Pakistan have whirled 🌊 into the Final from a bleak chance to a huge chance of clinching the titleπŸ† this year.

New Zealand have played great cricket throughout the tournament but choked at the last moment when it actually mattered the most.

We hope you've liked our coverage. This is Arijit Kundu and it's time to bid adieu alongside co-commentators Anurag Dasgupta, AkshayaKrishna Polya, Arjun Bhalla, and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Good bye, stay safe!!
Babar Azam (Pakistan Captain): "The team performed very well. Specially I want to thank all the crowd. We are feeling like we are at home. It feels like home. We wanted to utilize the first six overs and the ball would not come into the bat properly later. And we had fast bowlers in the slog over as well. We wanted to utilize the first six overs with the bat, and later on, everyone come and chip in.

I think he is a young guy and he is telling the world he has more aggression. As a batsman he [Mohammed Haris] might be telling, I am looking to do more well and celebrate. Yeah, we have a winning momentum, and at the same time, we don't know which team is coming. We sit and enjoy tomorrow. We have a few days' time to sit relax and make some plans."
Kane Williamson (New Zealand Captain): "Yeah, I thought we were put under pressure early on by Pakistan. We did try to bat out the overs and come with momentum. That was an unbelievable knock from Daryl Mitchell. At the halfway mark, we thought that it was a competitive total. The momentum was with them. They outplayed us. They were the deserving team to win, and they did well. A tough pill to swallow for us. Babar and Rizwan started well and batted extremely well to get us under pressure. They batted for a good period of time and piled on the runs. Credits to them.  To be honest, we wanted to be a bit more disciplined in our areas. Pakistan were certainly the deserved winners. We played good cricket throughout the round-robin. Tonight we weren't at our best. But this is how T20 cricket moves around."
Mohammad Rizwan | Player of the Match: "Luckily to get into the semi-finals. We were struggling in the batting. Especially, Babar and I haven't done well till now, and today, luckily, the almighty has blessed us to kick off at the right time. This wicket was two-paced. It was tricky, and 150 was a good score on this pitch. We thought that one of us would bat deep and the other would take oin the bowlers. And we did stick to that as it was a tricky track. We believe in the almighty, and he has given us the strength to hunt this down. As the almighty says, you do the hard work and leave the result to me. He has blessed us throughout, and tonight it was not different either."
And there it is, huge roars in the Pakistan dugout and they have gushed their way into the grand finale of the glitterati event, defeating New Zealand with 7 wickets in hand. New Zealand finding triumph in the Semi-Finals of the ICC event against Pakistan is still something to witness in the future.

Fielding has been one of the aspects where New Zealand have lost this match and Pakistan have edged past them in all three arenas today.

Arriving for the chase of 153 runs, Pakistan had started things in a rosy way. They got into the momentum after notching up plethoras of boundaries inside the first three overs. Babar Azam was offered survival after Devon Conway dropped him behind the stumps right in the first over. Tim Southee, Trent Boult, and Lockie Ferguson operated inside the powerplay and Pakistan raced up to 55 runs for no loss at all.

The duo of Babar and Rizwan which failed to live up to the expectations throughout the tournament glued a 105 runs partnership together at the need of the hour. Mohammed Haris joined Rizwan after the skipper was out, trying to heave a biggie and get trapped at long-on. The duo played the field well and tinkered with the scoreboard with occasional boundaries.

New Zealand got a few wickets at the fag end but Mohammed Haris pumped the Pakistan side past the finishing line when things were turning out a bit tricky with 19 runs needed from the last 15 balls.

The fielding has been very much unlike New Zealand today for the Black Caps.

Previously, Kane Williamson of New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first. They lost Finn Allen right in the first over after he over-squared to miss the flick to an inswinger from Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Devon Conway and Kane Williamson played the inner field during the powerplay but it was the Asian bowlers who had the edge. New Zealand could get only 38 runs at the end of the powerplay but lost Devon Conway in the form of a run-out at the edge of the field restrictions.

Glenn Phillips who came in at no.4 was dismissed early and then it was Daryl Mitchell and the skipper who took the innings deep. They built the sinking ship and tinkered the scoreboard with singles and doubles. Both the batters made use of the long deep mid-wicket pockets and glued a partnership of 68 runs together.

Some exceptional bowling followed in the slog overs and New Zealand could manage only 152 runs from 20 overs. Shaheen Shah Afridi bagged two wickets for them and Mohammed Nawaz scalped one.

Pakistan are jubilant about their victory and will wait for tomorrow's result in order to find their opponent in the finals.
