That's it from our coverage of this Group 2 Super 12 fixture between Bangladesh and Netherlands from the Bellerive Oval in Hobart. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshaya Krishna Polya and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Stay tuned for more coverage from across the globe.
Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh Captain): "It was very important to get a win. Since 2007, I have played all T20 World cups but never won a game in the 2nd stage, it was on the back of my mind but we were losing wickets in the first innings. I though something close to 150 was a good score and our bowlers did well to give us the win.

We understand the importance of fast bowlers now. We have a good pool of fast bowlers and Hasan Mahmud is one of them. Taskin is doing well for us since past three -four years. We are emphasizing on the fielding as well. The youngsters are quick and agile in the field and are saving runs for us out in the middle."
Scott Edwards (Netherlands Captain): "Bowlers were sensational. 145 runs was just 15-20 runs below par. We thought we were truly in this game. Yeah, this is not ideal, if we lose four wickets in the powerplay, it isn't good in powerplay. Colin and yeah a few others were good. We will try to give our best in the next."
Taskin Ahmed (Player of the Match): "Yeah, definitely, it's a good win for us. As a team, we all played. I am happy to contribute for this win. I was just sticking to the basics. I watched in the first innings, the ball was moving. I was looking to target the Test Match length. I was looking to give my best in every sector, so trying my best. I was chatting with him regarding my fist and the movements. We just want to win the World Cup."
Taskin Ahmed is the player of the match.
First ever victory for Bangladesh in the 2nd round of a T20 World cup as they seal a close 9 run win against the challenging Netherlands line up. A brilliant comeback from the Bangladesh bowlers after they failed to deposit a strong total on the board in the first innings have given them their first points in the super 12 table.

An excellent spell of fast bowling from Taskin Ahmed (4/25) followed by a magnificent spell from Hasan Mahmud (4-1-15-2) put the Bangla tigers up in this rain hit clash. Though no overs were reduced due to rain, the game was halted on multiple occasion across both the innings for a short while.

Colin Ackermann's resilient half century (62 off 48) was the only positive for the Netherlands in a poor batting effort where every batter played poor strokes and threw their wicket away with Taskin taking 2 wickets on the very first couple of balls of the innings.

Netherlands never recovered but some good hits from Ackermann kept them hopeful but he got no support from the other end. Some big heaves from Paul van Meekeren, the no.11 batter put Netherlands in action as they needed 12 off 2 deliveries but he failed to hit any other six and was the last man out scoring 24 off 14 deliveries with 3 fours and a six.

Stay tuned for the post match coverage.

19.6 S Sarkar to Meekeren
W WICKETT!!! Fuller length on the off-stump. Meekeren bends low and goes for a heave. To be honest, gets a good piece of it. But for the Australian boundaries, he holes out at deep mid-wicket. Meekeren's fun ends here. Finally, Bangladesh won this game by nine runs!
19.5 S Sarkar to Meekeren
2 Length ball outside the off. Meekeren hoicks but fails to get the timing right. In the air and falls way infront of the wide long on for a couple.
12 FROM 2! Is another miracle on the cards in the T20 World cup???
19.4 S Sarkar to Meekeren
6 SIXXX!! Full toss on the pads. Meekeren clubs this one as he picks it up early to flick it high and handsome well over the deep square leg fence for a massive six. Game is turning on its head!
19.4 S Sarkar to Meekeren
WD WIDE! Slower, shorter and outside the off. Meekeren misses the upper cut and wide signalled.
19.3 S Sarkar to F Klaassen
1 A full toss on the middle and leg stump. Klaassen heaves it down to deep mid-wicket for a single.
19.2 S Sarkar to F Klaassen
2 Good length and outside the off. A lofted extra covers drive from Klaassen. Bisects deep covers and long off for a couple. Good fielding from long off as he runs across and slides to save the four.
19.1 S Sarkar to F Klaassen
2 Fuller outside the off. Klaassen drags the slog from outside the off. In the air and falls way in front of the deep mid-wicket fielder. A couple of runs here.
