That's it for today from Lahore. The home team sneaks away with the win against the defending champions in this reverse fixture. Hope you have all enjoyed the action on our network and do join us for all upcoming matches all around the globe. For now, this is me Ajay Ahire signing it off along with my co-commentators Ayan Chatterjee and Ajay Singh. Until then stay safe and stay cool...
Shaheen Shah Afridi | Winning Skipper, Lahore Qalandars: "Enjoying the stint as a captain at the Lahore Qalandars. We are performing really well in all three departments. And all and all going well for us. Rashid Khan always delivers with the ball and did the same today. Fakhar as usual played really well and hopes he carries his good run. Really happy with the win and hope we can keep the winning momentum got going."
Mohammad Rizwan | Losing Skipper, Multan Sultans: "We wanted to experiment by bowling first. The knocks by Fakhar Zaman and how Mohammad Hafeez took the momentum away from us. Talking about the dew would be an excuse. The credit goes to the Lahore Qalandars' bowlers."
Fakhar Zaman | Player of the Match: "My mindset is to play ball-by-ball and then after getting set go long, that's my effort. The pitch in Karachi was a better one to bat on, here the ball is keeping low, so will have to adjust and we are happy that we have done it. It was an important win. To beat a tough side like Multan who was unbeaten was important for our morale and we hope to go well further on. The crowd support was tremendous, we loved it and hope that when we get 100% crowds in, it will be better. It was massive and I personally enjoyed it. "
That's it that's the game for the Lahore Qalanders and Defending champions Multan Sultans faced their first defeat of the season. Absolutely clinical performance from the Lahore Qalanders with the ball as well as the bat. They get the win here by the big margin of 52 runs. It was the reverse fixture between these two sides and Qalanders have their revenge at their home. First game at the home leg and they didn't disappoint their fans.

Chasing 183 The Sultans haven't got the start as they kept on getting throughout the season. As Shan Masood lost his wicket on the score of 8 as he chipped the fuller length delivery straight into the hands of cover. The skipper Mohammad Rizwan kept on struggling for his 27 ball stay and ended up getting bowled out off the Bowling of Rashid Khan on the score of 20. Straightaway after the departure of skipper Rashid Khan picked up the wicket of Rilee Rossouw on the very next ball as he trapped in front of the wickets.

Shoaib Maqsood in at 4 scored 29 runs from 26 balls but he threw away his wicket off the Bowling Haris Rauf. Tim David came in all guns blazing as he started off his innings in top gear. He scored quickfire 24 from 12 balls but lost his wicket at the very wrong time. From there on the target looked out of reach for the Sultans. Anwar Ali and Abbas Afridi came and went into the dugout in no time. The remaining tail was blown away by the express pace of Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Today it was a combined bowling effort from the Qalandars. All the four front-line bowlers picked up a couple of wickets each. Apart from the last couple of matches. Today the Pacers were much more economical than Rashid Khan. Where the magician was been taken away for a few blows in his last over. The youngster Zaman Khan bowled really well in his 4 overs spell. Shaheen Shah and Haris Rauf were clinical as always they do. All and all great effort with the bowl from the Qalandars.

Stay tuned for the presentations...
