That's a wrap to our coverage of Match 15 from the iconic Gadaffi Stadium in Lahore. The action continues tomorrow in the PSL as the Sultans are back in action in Match 16 against the home-based franchise Lahore Qalandars. Do join us for this game and for other cricketing action across the globe as cricket simply does not stop in our network.

For now, this is me Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my esteemed co-commentators Anirudh Modi and Ajay Singh. Till next time, until we meet again, stay safe, happy, and cool and get vaccinated with booster shots as and when it's available for you. TA-TA! ADIOS AND Goodnight to one and all.
Mohammed Rizwan (Winning Captain): "Credit to the players and the management. The credit should not go to the captain alone. Today, we dropped a lot of catches, but we held ourselves together. Coming to the match, the pitch looked a belter for the first six overs. We thought 200 will be par and then we saw it was tacky and then we knew 180 would be par. Khusdil is a confident player and I will want him to continue to do well. His marriage has definitely helped. As far as improvements are concerned, I feel that we have areas to improve and improve our batting more and give more chances to the bench to see where we stand at. Happy with where we are at and would like to improve further as well. "
Wahab Riaz (Losing Captain): "We are committing mistakes in the powerplay. We are not winning those moments in the powerplay. It's always going to be difficult to bounce back from such situations. We need to execute our plans, we haven't been able to do so. Hopefully, we'll be able to do that in the upcoming games."
Player of the Match Shan Masood: "It's an honour and a dream to play for Pakistan (on his selection for the Tests against Australia). I want to keep coming out and performing well. I think I am being a little clearer with my shot selection now. I am taking one ball at a time. You have to trust your process. The pitch was a belter. But they used their variations well. The spinners also did well when they bowled wicket to wicket. We had a decent target for us bowlers to defend."
Time for the post-match presentation with Sana Mir.
Blessing Muzarabani (3-18): "It's always good to keep it easy and hit your length. Really happy that I got some wickets. It's an advantage that I am tall (6'8) - can always get that extra bounce. The guys are really positive, hoping to win every game."
That's the end of the game and another professional display by the Multan Sultans as they remain unbeaten in the competition. It's 6 wins out of 6 as they are head and shoulders above the others in the points table. They beat Peshawar Zalmi by 42 runs as they complete the double over Zalmi this season. What a performance from this side.

Put in to bat first by Wahab Riaz earlier today, the Sultans posted 182-7 in their allotted 20 overs. Shan Masood was the star for them as he top-scored with 68 off 49 balls. Rizwan the skipper looked out of sorts for his run a ball 34 runs. Tim David used the long handle for his 31 off 18 balls. Rilley Roussou chipped in with 15 off 7 balls and Khusdil Shah 11 off 7 balls. They could have got 200 but Zalmi came back well towards the end.

For Zalmi bowlers, a couple of wickets for Mahmood who went for runs in the end. A couple of wickets to boost for Salman Irshad who has been the pick of the bowlers for them. Wahab Riaz got his first wicket in HBL PSL Season 7 as he finished with 2-34 in his 4 overs. The bowlers did well to keep Zalmi in the contest but in the end, it was Multan who was too good with the ball.

In the chase of 183, Zalmi lost two early wickets for 5 runs. Kamran Akmal and Haider Ali went for 4 and 1 respectively. Liam Livingstone and Shoaib Malik were dropped by the Sultans on an otherwise blemish-free day for them. Livingstone scored 24 off 16 balls. Shoaib Malik top-scored with 44 off 31 balls. Sherfane Rutherford chipped in with 21 off 19 balls and Ben Cutting with some lusty blows, in the end, scored 23 off 11 balls while Saqib Mahmood enjoyed himself with a run a ball 11 runs.

For the Sultans bowlers, Blessing Muzarabani was the star with the new ball with his 3-18 in 4 overs. Shahanawaz Dahani was good with his 2-35 in 3 overs. A wicket for Abbas Afridi 1-23 in 3 overs Imran Tahir was miserly as ever in his 1-25 in 4 overs. Khusdil Shah came, later on, to get 3-26 in 3.3 overs and wiped off the tail. He got his wickets tally to 13 in HBL PSL Season 7 a whopping season he is having.

All, in all, a great professional performance from the Sultans as they won the game easily despite being sloppy on the field and dropping a few catches. They would like to work on that and get better in the remaining games. Multan is on top with 12 points while the Peshawar Zalmi with loads of work to do as they remain in 5th place with an inferior Net Run Rate compared to the others. So, Sultans win by 42 runs.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation coming your way soon.

19.3 K Shah to S Irshad
W A loopy delivery and Irshad brings out another slog. It's mistimed terribly and has gone high in the air. Shah runs back and settles under a great diving catch despite knowing they already have the game in their hands.
19.2 K Shah to S Irshad
0 Tossed up delivery outside off, seems like Irshad wants to send this one back to Karachi. Goes for a WILD slog and loses all his balance in the process.
19.1 K Shah to S Mahmood
1 Back of a length outside off, Mahmood slogs and sends an outside edge to short third man.
