That's it for today from the Super Smash. I hope enjoyed this epic encounter. Do join us for the upcoming matches from all around the globe. For now, this is me Badal Pareek signing it off along with my Co-commentators Jatin and Rahul.
Bracewell's magnificent 141 helps Wellington win the match by 2 wickets. They had to chase down 228 runs and they managed to pull this off even after losing 5 wickets in the powerplay.

Wellington won the toss and decided to bowl first. They didn't get much help off the wicket but still managed to keep things quiet in the initial ten overs. Once Clarkson was set it wasn't easy for the bowlers out there. He smoked them to all parts of the ground. Smith, Wiggins, and Bruce supported him throughout. Central Districts managed to put on a mammoth first innings total of 227 runs in their 20 overs.

Wellington started the chase in the worst possible way as they lost a few too many wickets up top. Wellington were 43 for 5 after the first 5 overs. Things started to fall apart for them but then came an innings to remember. At one point in time, the required run rate was over 13 but Bracewell still managed to keep this chase alive. Bracewell was in the zone and he was hitting sixes at will. A magnificent century by Bracewell helped them chase this mammoth total down. He was well supported by Gibson and Van Beek. The match went down to the wire. Wellington needed 17 runs off the last six balls. Bracewell was still out there and he made sure they finished on the right side of the result.

This run chase and that innings by Bracewell will go down in the history of the game as one of the best ever. It by far has been the best match of this seasons Super Smash.
Bracewell(141* off 65 balls): "Coming in I knew it was going to be a good wicket to bat on and I just tried to take it deep. We managed to keep up with the rate throughout but just lost a few too many wickets early on. The way they(Van Beek and Gibson) batted and managed to strike from ball one really took off the pressure from me."
Wellington won by 2 wickets.
Badal: This must be one of the greatest innings in the history of the New Zealand domestic circuit if not the best. Bracewell has played an absolutely outstanding inning. An innings to remember for a long long time.
Finishes off in style, skipper stands there and took his team home, epic just epic from Michael Bracewell.
JUST UNBELIEVABLE.
19.5 T Bruce to M Bracewell
4 Four!! Can you believe it!! Bruce goes full and Bracewell from outside off picks it of the sweep over fine leg for a finishing boundary. This innings has come from nowhere out of Universe. Take a bow Bracewell!! Wellington have won by 2 wickets with a ball to go.
19.4 T Bruce to M Bracewell

19.2 T Bruce to M Bracewell
W Full and outside off, Bracewell drives to point and runs down for an unnecessary single at this time and Newton is just short as third umpire gives it out. Not smart from Bracewell in this ball. Should have kept strike.
19.1 T Bruce to M Bracewell
6 Sixxxx!! Bruce goes on a good length down the leg, Bracwell does well to pick it up coming down the track to cow corner for a six.
Excellent over from Tickner and that too under pressure.
Giving his team more chances to win.
17 needed off the last over and the skipper comes to bowl.
It's skipper to skipper.

18.6 B Tickner to M Bracewell
1 Fuller length, Bracewell picks it from off and works it to deep mid wicket for single to end the over. What a death bowling from Tickner!
18.5 B Tickner to O Newton
1 Bowls full again, Newton gets inside edge where fine leg fielder does well to stop a boundary and its just a single taken.
18.4 B Tickner to M Bracewell
1 Yorker on the stumps, Bracewell can't do much as he guides it to third man for a single there.
18.3 B Tickner to M Bracewell
0 Back of a length, just on the leg stump, Bracewell is beaten on the flick dancing down the track.
