Thanks for joining us for the live coverage of the ICC U19 World Cup group match between India and Uganda. This is Badal Pareek signing off along with my co-commentators Saurabh Saket and Sourabh Kumar. Do join us for live cricket coverage from all across the globe.
Pascal Murungi (Captain Uganda): It was a good game for our side, we will try to focus on the positives we had in this tournament. It has been a great learning experience for all the boys in the tea.
Nishant Sindhu (Captain India): We are working on our strengths. Our batters are giving us good starts. Our bowlers are also doing well. We try to note a few things and execute them during the games.
Raj Bawa (Player of the Match): I am very happy. I want to contribute in both aspects of the game. I have met Yuvraj Singh who is my idol, happy with how the team performed today.
India batted first and smashes the Uganda bowlers to all parts of the ground, they managed to post a mammoth total of 405 runs thanks to hundreds by Angkrish and Bawa. They put together a partnership that was worth more than 200 runs. Uganda had to chase down 406 runs which seemed almost impossible and it did turn out that way. India dismissed Uganda for 79 runs in 19.4 overs. One of the Uganda batters had to retire hurt himself and he could return to bat as a result, they were all out at 9 wickets. India U19 won the match by 326 runs.

Uganda won the toss and decided to bowl first in order to extract some movement of the wicket early on. India started off in a very composed manner, they did lose an early wicket but post that scoring rat did pick up. Another man was sent back to the pavilion soon. Angkrish was joined by Bawa at the crease, both of them combined together to stitch a two hundred run partnership. It was some hitting by both Indian batters who managed to score individual hundreds. English scored 144 runs off 120 and Bawa remained not out on 162 off 108 balls. Other batters did contribute a few runs to the total but the majority of the scoring was done by the two. The Uganda bowlers were smashed to all parts of the ground. India ended up scoring 405-5 in their 50 overs. It was a huge total and it wasn't going to be easy batting against the quality bowlers of India U19. The Uganda inning started in the worst possible way as Hangarekar's back of length delivery hit Ategeka on the arm and he had to retire hurt himself. Post that things never really got better for Uganda as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Murungi did stick around for a while and battled hard for his team. Once he departed the Indian bowlers wrapped up the innings is some speed. It was one of the biggest wins in Indian cricketing history and certainly the biggest when it comes to ICC tournaments.
India U19 won by 326 runs.

W WICKET! That's the fourth for Sindhu, skipper to skipper, good length on the pads, loud shout from the Indian players and the umpire raises the finger. Murungi departs a hard fought struggle for his side.
