It's goodbye from me Ayan Chatterjee on behalf of my co-commentators Ajay Ahire and Tushar Garg. Till next time, it's goodbye. Take care. Stay safe, happy, and cool.
So, that's a wrap on our coverage of Match 22 of WBBL07. Melbourne Renegades beat the Sixers earlier today by 12 runs and now the Sydney Thunder beat the Stars by 19 runs. Not quite the double Melbourne was hoping for over Sydney today. There's still plenty of action still to come and going on in the WBBL07 Super Saturday doubleheader. Perth Scorchers-Hobart Hurricanes game is on at Perth currently, interestingly and tantalizingly poised that. Still to come in 20 minutes from Aurora is Brisbane Heat vs Hobart Hurricanes from 2 pm IST. Switch tabs to watch those matches and fascinating contests ahead of us.
There is cricket around the globe here on our network at One Cricket and Cricket Exchange. We have South Africa vs Srilanka starting at 3.30 PM IST followed by Australia vs England at 7:30 PM IST. Stick around for all these matches with us here.
Samantha Bates has been adjudged the Player of the Match award for her figures of 2-14 in 4 overs.
Finally, a win for Sydney Thunder at last as the defending champions register a 19 run win over Stars. It's been a long-time coming for Thunder who have looked a pale shadow of themselves in this tournament. Today they were good. With the bat, it was Wilson (53) and Litchfield(49) who helped them get to 133-5. Then with the ball, it was an all-around bowling performance restricting The Stars to 114-8.
With the ball, Samantha Bates 2-14 in 4 overs was the main destroyer in the powerplay. She was ably supported by Deepti Sharma 3-25 in 4 overs picking up 2 in an over and 2 caught and bowled dismissals.
Disappointing performance from the Stars in my opinion. Meg Lanning's form with the bat is a real matter of concern. Single-digit scores whether at 3 or at the top. Their batting against spin leaves a lot to be desired. Only Ellyse Villani looked good as she always does in all the matches that the Stars have played so far. A poor display by the Stars as they stay rooted in the bottom half of the table. Thunder stay at the bottom, but now they have at least 3 points to show for in their kitty. Stick around to find out who's won the Player of the Match award.

19.5 H Darlington to T Flintoff
W BOWLED! Darlington is closing out the things here in style. Inswinging delivery in the blockhole, Flintoff slogs and misses, ball hits the base of the leg stump
19.4 H Darlington to T Flintoff
2 Length delivery outside off, Flintoff chips in the air on off side. They will get a double before the fielder fires the ball back in
19.3 H Darlington to M Darke
1 Full delivery on sixth stump line, Darke bunts it to leg side for a single
19.2 H Darlington to T Flintoff
1 Length delivery, Flintoff can't get any timing on that one and the ball rolls to long on fielder for another single
19.1 H Darlington to T Flintoff
0 Darlington to bowl the 20th and she starts with a full delivery on leg stump, tamely driven to cover fielder
