Milestone
That is all we have from the commentary box for this game. Do join us tomorrow as action never ends here. Till then it's ta-ta from me (Arjun Bhalla) and my fellow mate Arya Sekhar Chakraborty.

A clinical performance by this Indian batting unit in this warm up game against England. They were asked to chase down a total of 189 runs - against a lethal English bowling group - but they did this task with some ease. A huge momentum and confidence boasting win for India, before heading into the Super 12 stage of this T20 World Cup.

India sent KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan as openers to test the batters, both of them responded mightily well. KL took the attack in the Powerplay overs, using his technically backed strokes. Kishan, on the other hand, too attacked but was more about rotating the strike up front. The Indian openers stemmed a stand of 82 runs - inside nine overs - as Rahul scored a fifty off just 24 deliveries, but got out
immediately.

Then came Kohli to assist young Ishan in the task, however, the Indian skipper had a rare failure as he got removed by Livingstone. The opening southpaw then had another explosive southpaw to partner with. The two southpaws played their brand of cricket and toyed with the English bowlers and the field as well. Ishan scored an applauding 70* off 46, before he was asked to retire. Apart from Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav also had a rare failure. But the finishing touches were provided by the Indian finishers, i.e Pant and Pandya, helping India achieve the target with an over to spare.

18.6 C Jordan to R Pant
6 Pant finishes it off in style. That's been crunched over square leg for a massive six and India wins it with an over to spare. A short slower one that sits up perfectly to Pant and he smokes that over deep square leg for a massive six. Exceptional run-chase.
18.6 C Jordan to H Pandya
1nb No ball and Hardik gets a single. Length delivery but no-ball called straightaway from the umpire. Hardik ends up slicing that down the deep cover region and gives the strike back to Pant.
18.5 C Jordan to H Pandya
2 That's one more low full toss. Hardik whips it away down the midwicket region and a misfield allows him to return for a couple.
18.4 C Jordan to H Pandya
4 Gets a thickish outside edge and it runs away for a boundary. When you have a free hit you are not worried about getting out. Again a full one outside off. Hardik throws the kitchen sink at it and ends up getting an outside edge which flies over the short third man fielder.
18.4 C Jordan to H Pandya
4nb That's a very poor delivery and fiver bonus runs for India. A full toss above the waist outside off. Hardik flays at that and doesn't make a connection. Misses Buttler as well off to the boundary ropes.
18.3 C Jordan to H Pandya
0 Another dot ball and Hardik is not happy with himself. Aplogosises to Pant for not rotating the strike. Works this low full toss on the stumps down the square leg region.
18.2 C Jordan to H Pandya
0 That could be a wide but not wide enough for Joel Wilson. Very close to the tramline on the off stump but Jordan gets away with that.
18.1 C Jordan to H Pandya
4 That is too straight from Jordan coming in from around the wicket. Trying to execute the yorker but that was perfectly in the slot for Hardik to open his arms. Smashes that length delivery wide of the mid-off fielder and it races off to the boundary ropes.

David Willey
1-16(3.0)
17.6 D Willey to H Pandya
1 Connects this time but only for a single. Shorter slower yet again from Willey. Hardik pulls it away down the deep midwicket region and finds the fielder. Will keep the strike.
17.5 D Willey to H Pandya
0 Another back of a length off-cutter outside off. Hardik tries to dab that down the third man region but doesn't make any contact.
17.4 D Willey to H Pandya
0 Very bowled by Willey. Slower again shortish length and it hits Pandya on the belly and trickles down to the keeper.

17.3 D Willey to S Yadav
W And Willey gets his man. SKY has to take the long walk back to the pavilion. Again a slower short one from Willey. SKY makes room and tries to ramp that over the keeper but ends up getting the outside edge straight to Buttler behind the stumps. Good wicket for England but this still looks a match well in India's grasp. They are still in control.
17.2 D Willey to S Yadav
4 This time he gets that away. Gets the placement right this time around and will get a boundary. Gets into the position pretty early. Crunches on his knees and easy pickings for SKY. Laps it around the deep fine leg region and finds the boundary.
