WISHING YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS!
PLAYER OF THE MATCH- Nathan Ellis for his spell of 2/27.
Melbourne Stars started well with no wickets till over 5 but after that Hobart took charges there fielders were on their toes supporting their bowler to the fullest taking good catches of Stonis and Maxwell but still after losing two wickets for Melbourne Joe took some responsibility and scored his half-century but couldn't manage to hang after that giving Hobart more chances Melbourne would have hoped some stuff from the big man but he too couldn't do much and thus wicket at regular interval kept Hobart always ahead of Melbourne Stars and due to which they had a face a loss of 24 runs.

Talking about the first innings of hurricanes they had a decent start and looked like they would easily cross the 185 mark little credit to the bowlers of Melbourne Stars and bowled well in-depth overs and restricted Hobart to 180/6 but still, these efforts weren't enough for their batters. Riley and Rogers had a good day with the ball as they both grabbed three wickets each and a good spell D Short took a crucial wicket of Joe Clarke who was looking to take charge at that moment. Two wickets for Ellis too moreover a great bowling effort for Hobart Hurricanes.
Christmas Party comes early for Hobart Hurricanes. A great team performance from Hobart thrashing Melbourne Stars easily in the end.
Hobart Hurricanes won by 24 runs.
