Player Bio

A tall left-arm fast bowler from Western Australia, Joel Paris is an Australian cricketer who has made a name for himself in the Australian domestic setup.

Paris had two impressive Matador Cup campaigns in 2014 and 2015 and as a result, was selected in the Australian ODI squad to face the touring Indian side. Paris picked up 13 wickets in the 2014-15 Matador Cup season and then scalped 10 wickets in the following season to stamp his authority in the white-ball format.

He made his ODI debut in the first match of the series and went wicketless as Australia won the game by 5 wickets. Paris played his last ODI game in the second match of the series and since then has been ignored by the selectors.

Apart from the Australian senior team, Paris has also represented his nation at the 2012 Under-19 World Cup, where he scalped six wickets.

Currently, Paris plays for Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League.
