Player Bio

A promising batting all-rounder, Ethan Alexander Brookes is a professional English cricketer for Warwickshire County. The youngest of Brooke’s siblings, Ethan is a graduate of the Warwickshire Academy.  A right-arm seam bowler and a handy lower-order batsman, Ethan has been representing Bears since the U-10s.

Ethan made his debut alongside his older brother Henry against Essex at Edgbaston on September 10th, 2019, and has featured heavily for the club in the last two seasons. After making his Championship debut in 2019, the Solihull-born all-rounder had to wait two years before making his debut in the limited-overs fixture. The youngster’s first appearance came against Glamorgan on July 22nd, 2021 and since then he became a regular in the Bears white-ball squad.

Still just 20 years old, Ethan has properly seized his early opportunity to impress during a sustained run of first-team cricket and he would be hoping to cement his place in all three formats for the County.
