Player Bio

A dashing top-order batsman, Adam John Hose is a professional English cricketer who started his career at a very young age representing Hampshire in all age groups and also featured for the MCC Young Cricketers.

Known as the next Kevin Petersen, Hose made his first-class debut against Pakistan in July 2016 and also made debuts in both limited-overs formats. Ever since his arrival at Warwickshire, Hose has plundered runs in all games, and that too at an alarming rate for his opponents.

After joining from Somerset mid-season in 2017 he made his bow in a T20 against Lancashire Lightning at Edgbaston and thrilled the crowd with a stunning 76 from 43 balls. The 28-year-old has featured across all formats for the Bears, helping them reach the 2017 T20 Blast final and win Championship Division Two in 2018.

The Isle of Wight-born Hose has made 746 first-class runs, 756 in List A and 1,189 runs in T20, and has also played for Wellington Firebirds in New Zealand's short-form Super Smash competition.

Having the ability to become a star of the white-ball game, Adam Hose signed a two-year contract extension which will see him at Warwickshire till the end of the 2021 Championship season.
